Water Service Disruptions Update
It has been a challenging 48 hours for the City of Trail.
We have experienced several water main breaks in a short period of time. City crews have been working diligently to complete repairs, and water service is expected to be fully restored later this afternoon. This includes the two breaks along Green Avenue and the break on Binns Street earlier today.
In addition, we are currently addressing a mechanical issue at the Bear Creek Well, which is causing fluctuations in water pressure.
Residents in the Miral Heights, Glenmerry, and Waneta neighbourhoods may experience intermittent low water pressure over the next 24 to 48 hours while this issue is being resolved.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews continue to work to stabilize the system.
