Parks & Recreation

The Trail Parks & Recreation Department provides community recreation programs, services, and first-class facilities for the Greater Trail area.

  • Trail Parks & Recreation provides services related to recreation, leisure and culture including administration and program costs as well as grounds and building maintenance.

  • Facilities managed within this area include the Trail Memorial Centre, the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre, the the Willi Krause Fieldhouse as well as over 20 developed parks and playgrounds.

  • The team consists of the Director of Parks & Recreation, the Deputy Director of Parks & Recreation, the Aquatic, Recreation, and Facility Coordinators and several aquatic and facility staff members who lead programs and maintain the facilities.
