Climate Action Reporting

The Local Government Climate Action Program (LGCAP) provides funding to local governments to support climate action initiatives that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve climate resilience, and advance local sustainability objectives. As a participant in the program, the City of Trail completes annual reporting on its climate actions, greenhouse gas emissions, and use of LGCAP funding. The Province also requires participating local governments to publicly post their completed LGCAP survey and attestation form each year.

The reports below have been posted in accordance with provincial reporting requirements and provide a summary of the City’s recent/ongoing climate actions and reporting results for the year.
