  • Posted on: Wednesday, July 22, 2026

The City of Trail invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the High-Risk Tree Removal and Maintenance project.

The work generally includes the removal, pruning, assessment, and risk mitigation of priority trees located within municipal parks and green spaces.  Services may include field verification of assigned trees, safe dismantling and rigging, traffic and pedestrian control, debris removal and disposal, site cleanup and restoration, and the preparation of written recommendations and a final completion report.

The work is based on the City’s 2025 tree assessment and inventory and will focus primarily on trees identified as high-priority items.

Request for Proposal documents are available here including the separate Appendix E – Site Mapping Package which is available here.

Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Proponents included in the Request for Proposal package.

Proposal closing is 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Questions should be directed to Josh Conci, Grounds and Roads Manager at jconci@trail.ca.
