LCAHS Rental Housing Needs Survey – Have your say on rental housing in the Lower Columbia
The Lower Columbia Affordable Housing Society (LCAHS) is conducting a short survey to better understand local rental housing needs, affordability challenges, preferred housing types, and future housing priorities. Rental housing is an increasingly important issue across our region, and the LCAHS wants to hear from the people who live and work here.
The survey is open from July 15 to August 15, 2026, takes approximately 5–10 minutes, and is open to anyone with an interest in housing in Trail, Rossland, Warfield, Montrose, Fruitvale, RDKB Areas A and B, and the surrounding communities.
Your input will help inform future attainable rental housing initiatives and planning. Complete the survey: LCAHS Rental Housing Needs Survey
Paper copies are also available at Rossland and Trail City Halls and at participating public libraries.
Thank you to the Lower Columbia Community Development Team Society (LCCDTS) and Kootenay Savings Credit Union for their support of this initiative.
