Water Service Interruption and Lane Closure – 1100, 1200 and 1300 blocks of Columbia and Second Avenues
The City of Trail will be installing two new watermain isolation valves to improve the operation, maintenance, and reliability of the water distribution system. Completion of this project will result in the following interruptions for residents;
Lane Closure – Tuesday, October 20th at 7:30am – 1100 Blocks Only Residents must remove all regularly used vehicles from the lane prior to work begins
Water Service Interruption – Wednesday, October 21st 7:30am – 5:00pm – 1100, 1200 & 1300 Blocks of Columbia and Second Avenues
The interruption will continue until the installation is complete, it is expected to last the full day. Please store an adequate supply of water for drinking and household use before the scheduled interruption.

If you experience discoloured water and air when the water service is turned back on, run your cold taps for several minutes until the water clears.
