Trail's Bridges - Columbia River Skywalk & Victoria Street Bridge

The Columbia River Skywalk is one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges of its kind in North America at 1000 feet landing to landing!  The bridge is part of the Trans Canada Trail Society's Great Trail and spans the Columbia River from Rotary Park in West Trail to McQuarrie Street in East Trail. The bridge is bike and stroller friendly.   The Victoria Street Bridge has 104 programmable colour-changing LED lights illuminate the eight arches of the Victoria Street Bridge to create an inviting and visually exciting environment. These lights are illuminated every night and can be viewed from downtown, the Esplanade, West Trail, the Columbia River Skywalk or Gyro Park.

Columbia Gardens Vineyard and Winery

Gyro Park

The ideal location for a sunny afternoon in Trail!  Gyro Park plays host to many community events and private functions.  Complete with an inclusive playground, skate park, spray park, boat launch, gazebo, summer concession, and stunning green space, Gyro is Trail's destination to beat the heat. Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre

Sweat, soak and swim!  The TALC offers you a well-equipped fitness centre, an 8-lane and leisure pool, waterslide and diving boards, and steam room.  Outside, put your racquet to use in the tennis and pickleball court.  Convenient hours to accommodate you! Trail Riverfront Centre

Trail's newest facility houses the Trail Visitor Centre, Trail Museum & Archives and the Trail & District Public Library. These services provide easy downtown access for library/museum-goers and visitors to the area. Trail Memorial Centre

Trail SK8 Park

Piazza Colombo

This Italian-themed park, located in Trail's historic Gulch, is beautifully designed with lush grass, picnic tables, flower gardens, a fountain, and an "il grotto" area.  Grab a picnic lunch and enjoy the ambiance.  Street parking available.  View on map

We get the importance of updating your Facebook status or posting a new photo!  The City of Trail provides access to free hot spots.  Don't waste your precious data!  We'll tell you exactly where to go!

EV charging stations

There are free Sun Country EV charging stations TESLA ports (2) and J1772 port (1) and pay/minute FLO EV charging stations CHAdeMO (2) and CCS Combo (2) in the Trail Memorial Centre parking lot downtown.  View our page for more info.
