Cedar Avenue lane closure to begin next week
TRAIL, B.C. – Starting Monday, October 5, construction work will begin along Cedar Avenue between Spokane Street and Helena Street as part of the Trail Transit Exchange Project.
During construction, Cedar Avenue will close to northbound traffic. Southbound traffic and parking will remain unchanged, and local businesses will continue to operate during their usual hours.
Some construction impacts are expected as the project progresses. People travelling through the area are asked to follow posted construction signs, fencing and directions from traffic control personnel. These measures will help keep everyone safe and maintain access through the area.
Also, please be advised that a small portion of Cedar Ave, between Portland Street and Helena Street, will be closed over the weekend and into next week.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of residents, businesses and visitors while this important project moves forward.
