Taxes and Municipal Incentives

The City of Trail is recognized as a community in British Columbia that has one of the lower property tax multipliers in the Province for small business.

Trail City Council has established a Revitalization Tax Exemption Program for all Class 6 (Business) properties to encourage private sector investment in commercial building projects. 

Council has also invested resources to further encourage a better business climate with the long range downtown plan and the installation of a high speed fibre network .
