Home of Champions Monument

Well known as the Home of Champions, the Greater Trail Area honours past and present residents that have excelled in business and sports or greatly contributed to the cultural landscape of our region.

 Monument sponsor and location

• The monument is sponsored by Kootenay Savings Credit Union.
• The monument is located at the corner of Cedar Avenue and Farwell Street in downtown Trail and lists the names of those individuals and groups recognized as hometown "champions."

How to nominate

• The Society accepts nominations on a regular basis.
• To nominate a potential "champion" for recognition on the monument, please review the criteria to ensure they qualify.
• Forms are available at Trail City Hall or by download.
