
The City of Trail has released its 2024 Water Quality Report, reaffirming its commitment to delivering clean, safe, and reliable drinking water to every household and business in the community.
The report highlights the exceptional performance of Trail’s water system, which draws from two pristine sources: the Columbia River and the Bear Creek Aquifer. Together, these sources serve over 7,700 residents through a network of 82.6 km of carefully maintained infrastructure.
“Every year, we conduct rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure our water meets or exceeds all provincial and federal health regulations,” says Craig Speers, City of Trail Utilities Manager. “Our treatment and distribution systems are continuously maintained and upgraded to provide consistent water pressure and reliable service to homes, businesses, and essential services.”
