This notice is to inform the public and residents of Bay Avenue and Portland Street in West Trail that these areas will experience a water service interruption between approximately 7:30am and 3:30pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 to accommodate new watermain connections for the Groutage Avenue Esplanade Development project. View the affected areas on the map.
Please prepare in advance by having potable water on hand and consider filling your bathtub to use as a water source to fill the back of your toilets. If you experience discoloured water when the water service is turned back on, run your cold taps for several minutes until the water clears.
The City of Trail apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
