The City of Trail proudly celebrated the grand opening of LifeLabs' Trail Patient Service Centre (PSC) located on the second floor of Waneta Plaza at #235 – 8100 Hwy 3B. The ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by the Honourable Katrine Conroy, Minister of Finance and MLA for Kootenay West, and Her Worship Colleen Jones, Mayor of Trail, marked a significant moment for the community.
“We are thrilled to welcome LifeLabs to Trail, as they provide essential healthcare services,” said Mayor Colleen Jones. “LifeLabs’ dedication to providing barrier-free access to lab service is commendable and will undoubtedly enhance Trail’s overall health and wellness.”
Across BC, LifeLabs provides nearly 70% of the outpatient medical lab services under contract with the BC government. With nearly all services covered by the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP), LifeLabs is providing British Columbians with greater access to accessible and community-based lab diagnostics healthcare services for all residents.
“LifeLabs has responded to the call for improved access to lab services, furthering the well-being of our community,” said the Honourable Katrine Conroy, “The collaboration between LifeLabs and Interior Health Authority is a positive step towards ensuring accessible and quality healthcare service for all residents.”

– Operating from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday
– Majority of services covered by MSP
– Barrier-free access to lab services, Holter monitoring, ECGs and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
– Walk-in and appointment-based services
