Join the Major Downtown Development Advisory Committee

The Major Downtown Development Advisory Committee is seeking up to four new members with expertise in:

This is a unique opportunity to contribute your knowledge and experience to help guide the evolution of Trail’s downtown core.

The committee will:

explore challenges impacting local businesses during the planning and construction phases of downtown projects;
recommend proactive communication strategies to keep the community informed and engaged;
act as a conduit for residents to voice concerns related to downtown development;
involve other members of the downtown area to gather input on City proposals; and
suggest ways to reduce the negative impacts of construction, including noise, dust, traffic, pedestrian access, parking, and business disruptions; and
advise on options for development of City properties regarding feasibility, partnerships, funding and strategic planning.
