Gathering restrictions lifted - mask mandate and vaccine checks remain in place

The Provincial Health Officer (PHO) has announced that some COVID-19 restrictions for indoor and outdoor gatherings will be lifted, starting Thursday, February 17, 2022, with mask mandates, vaccine checks, and COVID-19 safety plans remaining in place for reassessment in the spring.

For patrons accessing Trail Parks & Recreation programs and services, here is what you need to know:

• You must continue to book your public skating, swim, and Fitness Centre times through trailrecreation.ca or 250-364-0858. Capacity for various services has been increased where appropriate.
• The Trail Memorial Centre remains available only to those participating in booked programs or services.
• Parks & Recreation programming will resume to full capacity. Watch for the new Leisure Guide in mid-March.
• Facility bookings for birthday parties, sports tournaments, and other events are available and can resume to full capacity. Please call Trail Parks & Recreation at 250-364-0858 for availability, facility capacity limits, costing, and other rental information.
