LOCAL Industrial Partners has installed site fencing along Helena Street, encapsulating the parking stalls and sidewalk adjacent to the building footprint to ensure safety and delineate the work area.
Kinetic Environmental, LOCAL's subcontractor, has commenced hazardous materials abatement. This phase is expected to take until mid-July, with no changes to the current site fencing layout during this period.
Frequent bin service is conducted to facilitate the safe removal and disposal of hazardous materials. All hazardous materials are encapsulated and contained in bins as per regulations to ensure no impacts to the public.
LOCAL will temporarily close the parking stalls along 900 Spokane Street from Friday, May 30, 2025 to June 2, 2025 to facilitate the removal of non-hazardous materials from the building.
A 40-yard roll-off bin will be staged on-site to load waste materials. LOCAL will service the bin frequently from May 30 to June 2, 2025, to ensure timely completion of the material removal.
