
Position Overview:
The Aquatic Program Coordinator leads the planning, coordination, and supervision of aquatic programs at our indoor pool facility. This role oversees day-to-day operations, including lifeguard training, program development, staff scheduling, and community engagement. The successful candidate will manage aquatic staff, ensure safety standards, and collaborate with schools, agencies, and user groups to deliver high-quality recreational and instructional programs. Responsibilities include budget input, facility checks, and promoting activities through marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Graduation from college or university in Recreation Administration, Business Administration, or Facility Management, supplemented by 5 years of experience supervising an aquatic centre and at least one Instructor/Trainer certificate in the aquatic field.
