The City of Trail’s Public Works Department is seeking a motivated, team oriented individual to fill the temporary full-time position of 4x4 Winter Shift / Public Works Labourer. This position is to cover a leave of absence the duration of which is expected to extend between three and six months.
Reporting to the Grounds/Roads Superintendent, or other designated individuals, the 4x4 Winter Shift / Public Works Labourer is responsible for a variety of tasks, primarily for but not limited to Roads and Utility Departments. The 4x4 Winter Shift / Public Works Labourer works on rotating 12 hour shifts as required by the applicable departments for the designated winter months and transfers to regular days for the off season.

The wages and benefits for this CUPE Local 2087 position are as per the Collective Agreement.
