Parking Ticket Dispute

To dispute a parking ticket, please complete a Parking Ticket Dispute Form. This form can be printed, completed and submitted in person at City Hall or by email to info@trail.ca.

Temporary Parking Permits

Temporary parking permits are available at City Hall for purchase for special events, conferences or training sessions in the downtown core that requires full day parking in metered spaces for a limited period of time (usually one day).
These permits are available at City Hall for $2.50 each and must be purchased in advanced to allow for processing time. Please call City Hall at 250 364-1262 for further information

Disabled Persons' Parking Permits

Applications for disabled persons’ parking permits are available at City Hall, 1394 Pine Avenue. These applications are processed by SPARC BC and require completion by a physician. City staff will issue a temporary permit for use during the application process.

Special Use Parking Passes

Special Use Parking Permits are available at City Hall for purchase at a cost of $75 per year. These permits allow vehicles to occupy a metered space without charge for the purpose of conducting their business, whether it be delivery related or for service calls to downtown buildings.
However, these permits are only available to vehicles that are properly licenced as a Commercial Vehicle and have a valid Commercial Vehicle Decal.
