Memorial Bench Program

• The cost for the donation of a six-foot aluminum framed style park bench is $2,500.00/bench.
• This cost includes the bench purchase, installation (on a concrete pad), maintenance for a period of 15 years, and a commemorative plaque.
• All donations are tax deductible and an official receipt will be issued by the year end which the donation was made.

The current bench inventory is limited to the following: 

• Six-foot aluminum framed style park benches that have already been installed, but have not yet been purchased by an individual or group.
• The current locations of the old wooden-style benches. The wooden benches can be replaced with the six-foot aluminum framed style park benches.

• The City of Trail is currently working on a memorial tree program, which we hope to implement in the near future.
• Patrons will have an opportunity to purchase a tree in memory of a family member or friend; and, with the assistance of city staff, will choose an appropriate and meaningful planting location. 
• Tree species and costing are still under development, but questions or comments are welcome.
