Trail Airport to receive relief grant funding

Trail BC –The Trail Regional Airport, owned and operated by the City of Trail, entered into a Conditional Grant Agreement with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure’s COVID-19 Airport Relief Team to receive up to $180,000 in grant funding. The funding is a one-time provincial operating grant to support ongoing essential medevac and passenger service operations of the airport..

Trail BC – The City of Trail is pleased to announce it has received the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CAnFR) by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its 2019 Annual Report. This is the City’s fourth consecutive year to receive the CAnFR for its excellence in financial reporting. The report is available at www.trail.ca/reports.

Butler park light pole demolition, starts week of Feb. 8

Trail BC – The City of Trail has awarded the Butler Park Light Pole Demolition Project to Hil-Tech Contracting Ltd. for the amount of $81,595. Work will commence the week of February 8, 2021 and will include the removal and disposal of eight concrete light poles, backfilling of the hollow core foundations, and repair of the dugout roof opening. Hil-Tech will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM for approximately two weeks.
