WSP will be performing fire hydrant flow testing activities in the vicinity of Glenmerry Elementary School on Monday December 13, 2021 between the hours of 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Residents in the area may experience discoloured water and should run their taps until the water comes out clear.

Trail – The BC Games Society announced today that Trail-Rossland will co-host the 2026 BC Winter Games.
These cities have a long history of hosting major sport events. The region has successfully hosted the 1982 and 2006 BC Winter Games and the 1996 BC Summer Games as well as the 2011 BC Seniors Games. Numerous Alpine Skiing and Nordic Skiing championships have also been staged in both Trail and Rossland.

Update: This project will continue into Friday, December 10, 2021.
On Wednesday, December 8 and Thursday, December 9, 2021, the City of Trail Public Works Department will be working on test holes for the watermain on Charles Lakes Drive between Gyro Park and Sunningdale. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to direct the flow of traffic.
