September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to honour the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
An all-ages event to reflect, learn, engage, and take action will be held on this day at Trail’s Jubilee Park (behind the Trail Riverfront Centre) from 11 am to 3 pm. Activities include an Action Walk, storytelling, interactive learning, and food by donation.

The Fitness Centre at the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre is scheduled to reopen on Monday, August 22 after its annual maintenance shutdown. Although reopen, the air conditioning serving the Fitness Centre and other parts of the building continues to be serviced. It is estimated repairs will be completed later in the week.
