The Trail Regional Airport Advisory Committee has been officially re-established, just days after the Trail Regional Airport celebrated a 10-year milestone membership with the Trail and District Chamber of Commerce. Street sweeping has begun

The City of Trail’s Public Works crew has started its annual street sweeping and flushing. The sweeper truck will start in the neighbourhoods that have received the earliest snowmelt and will eventually make its way through each neighbourhood.
It takes approximately 3 weeks for the truck to cover the City’s entire 76-kilometre (152 lane-kilometre) road network. To better facilitate the operation, where possible, avoid parking on the roadway.

Emergency closure on Daniel Street for sanitary storm main repair

This morning, City of Trail staff discovered a sanitary storm main collapse on Daniel St. between Munter St. and Bay Ave. As a result, Daniel St. will be closed starting at 7:00 a.m. on March 6 for the repair. The repair is expected to be complete within 48 hours.

Highway Drive closed for emergency repairs

This morning, City of Trail staff discovered water bubbling from the road in front of 3547 Highway Drive. As a result, Highway Dr. between Lily St. and Cottonwood Dr. has been closed to complete repairs.
During the repair activities, there will be a detour route set up and local traffic only on the most affected section of Highway Dr.

Third Avenue closed for a sewer line repair

Marwest Construction is under contract by the City of Trail to complete a repair to the sanitary sewer line on the 1400 block of Third Avenue between Highway 3B and Robertson Street.
The repair is expected to run from February 16 to February 23 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
