Green Avenue Lane Road Work, Week of July 24

Beginning on Monday, July 24, Power Paving Ltd. will be removing existing asphalt and paving the 1400 Block of Green Avenue Lane (Goat Trail). The work is expected to last for three days. Local residents who will be affected with receive a hand-delivered notice.

Water Disruption 2100 Blk. Second and Third Ave. 2200 Blk. Second Ave., 1445, 1462, 1470 Stewart St.

There will be a water service interruption for businesses and residents of the 2100 block of Second and Third Avenue, 2200 block of Second Avenue and 1445, 1462, 1470 Stewart Street between approximately 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM. on Wednesday, July 19 to accommodate a watermain valve repair.  Please prepare in advance by having water on hand.

2100 Block of Topping Street, Temporary Closure July 6

The 2100 Block of Topping Street will be closed to through traffic after 5:00 pm on July 6 to allow for a tree removal on private property. There will be no access to Daniel Street from Topping Street during this time. Please follow all appropriate signage.

Shaw Telecommunications Work, Glenmerry July 10 – August 4

Shaw will be performing work in the Glenmerry area, through a contractor, TMK Contracting Ltd.

This work is to upgrade cable services to homes through the utility right if way and property lines.

This work will take place on the 3500 Block of Marigold Drive, the 3500 Block of Daisy Street, and on Aster Drive. Residents affected by the work will receive a hand-delivered notice.

2100 Block Daniel Street, No Parking Along Top of Retaining Wall July 4

Borehole drilling will take place in the 2100 block of Daniel Street on Tuesday, July 4 starting at 7:00 am. As a result of this work, there will be no parking along the top of the retaining wall of the 2100 block starting at 7:00 am.

Residents in this area will receive a hand-delivered notice with this information.
