The City of Trail Public Works crews are making significant progress in snow removal. They are finishing up the widening of all neighborhoods and sanding problematic areas. The Trail area received around 4" (10cm) of snow overnight, starting at 11:30 p.m. and continuing without pause.
City Public Works crews worked through the night to keep roads and City-owned parking lots open. All available equipment is currently in use to clear roadways as snow continues today.
The focus will be on widening neighborhood roads today and throughout the weekend. Snow removal efforts will continue into early next week.
