SNOW UPDATE: Tuesday, February 4, 2025

The City of Trail Public Works crews are making significant progress in snow removal. They are finishing up the widening of all neighborhoods and sanding problematic areas. Following this, they will haul snow piles from dead ends, cul-de-sacs, and other temporary storage areas. Snow removal schedule:

• Rossland Ave. - Wednesday Feb. 5 starting at 7 a.m.
• 1400 and 1500 blocks of 2nd Ave. - Thursday, Feb. 6 starting at 7 a.m.
• 1100, 1200 and 1300 blocks of 2nd Ave. - Friday, Feb. 7 starting at 7 a.m.

SNOW UPDATE: Friday, January 31, 2025

The Trail area received around 4" (10cm) of snow overnight, starting at 11:30 p.m. and continuing without pause.

City Public Works crews worked through the night to keep roads and City-owned parking lots open. All available equipment is currently in use to clear roadways as snow continues today.

The focus will be on widening neighborhood roads today and throughout the weekend. Snow removal efforts will continue into early next week.
