Join the Trail & District Public Library, the Trail Museum & Archives, and the City of Trail on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, starting at 10 AM outside the Trail Riverfront Centre.
We will be celebrating Earth Day 2023 by driving less and biking more with Kootenay Mountain Biking as they provide free bike safety and coaching tips for ages 5 and up. The City of Trail will be conducting its annual spring clean-up program. Pick up will be done between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM on the dates listed below. Please have your materials ready for pick-up by 7:00 AM on the first day scheduled in your area. City crews will pass through your area only once on the dates specified. Due to an overwhelming response for the recruitment of lifeguards, the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre is pausing registration for all advanced courses as they develop a program to support lifeguard training. Those who have already expressed interest will be contacted.
