The portion of Glover Road from Green Avenue to Victoria Street (the highway) will be temporarily closed starting at noon today, Monday, May 16, for road repairs. See the construction area on the included map. Traffic can detour through the upper portion of Glover Road and along Binns Avenue in the interim. The sidewalk in the construction area will also be closed. Pedestrians can access the crosswalk to the adjacent covered stairway.

Bears can become a big nuisance this time of year as they are often attracted to bagged garbage that has been left in easily accessible outdoor garbage cans. To help with this issue, the City asks all residents to store their garbage in a secure place until their scheduled collection day.
