The portion of Glover Road from Green Avenue to Victoria Street (the highway) will be temporarily closed starting at noon today, Monday, May 16, for road repairs. See the construction area on the included map. Traffic can detour through the upper portion of Glover Road and along Binns Avenue in the interim. The sidewalk in the construction area will also be closed. Pedestrians can access the crosswalk to the adjacent covered stairway.

On Saturday, May 7, a 12-metre section of a retaining wall in the 2100 block of Daniel Street failed, blocking through traffic on lower Daniel Street. There are no reports of injury or private property damage, but lower Daniel Street remains blocked by debris.
