New regional fire training centre in Trail approaches completion

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue Service (KBRFR) is excited to announce that the construction of its new Regional Fire Training Centre, located adjacent to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) Fire Hall, is nearing completion. Smooth road ahead: temporary closures on Highway 3B intersections

Between September 9-12, the city will be milling and paving in two high traffic areas that intersect Highway 3B: Devito Drive at HWY3B (see map) and Highway Drive at HWY3B (see map). These roads will be temporarily closed while the work is completed with flagging crews on site. Paving crews will be working between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. to complete these improvements.
